SCENT was established in December 2021. The origin of the name SCENT is from the idea of a subtle pleasant fragrance captivating the senses. Our aim is to provide an experience not only through the sense of smell but through the atmosphere. At SCENT, we practice the cutting technique known as ‘HAZUSHI’ which is a dry cutting, sculpting technique developed by Masayuki Mogi, the former art director of Vidal Sassoon in London. Utilizing HAZUSHI and an array of techniques, we strive to provide personalized service that is carefully tailored to each client, in an effort to build a trusting relationship with our clients. We use environmentally friendly colorants from OWAY, that smells pleasant, are made of organic materials and are gentle on the scalp. In addition to our service, a small gallery space is set up in SCENT where you will find art and photography exhibitions, fashion pop ups, and other installations. It is a space where people can feel free to create, and share values and ideals. The environment we have created is intended to stimulate the creativity of all people involved.
